About:
Giga Mais is Brazil’s largest independent fiber-optic (FTTH) broadband operator by network length. The Company serves approximately 1.2 million customers in more than 860 cities across 22 states, through its own fiber-optic network of more than 150,000 kilometers.
The Company runs two business units on a single network and has approximately 3,700 employees. The B2C unit operates under the Giga+ Fibra brand and sells broadband and digital services directly to residential customers. The B2B unit operates under the Giga+ Empresas brand and provides connectivity and solutions to businesses, government entities, carriers and other internet service providers, including wholesale access to its network. Information on contracts signed with Brazilian federal government agencies is available on the Federal Government Transparency Portal (Portal da Transparência – Consulta de Contratos Públicos). Because both units share a single network, the Company benefits from economies of scale in both capital expenditures and operations.
The Company’s strategy has three priorities: operational excellence, customer base profitability and disciplined capital allocation, with a focus on cash generation and deleveraging.
Giga Mais is controlled by funds managed by eB Capital, a Brazilian alternative investment manager that takes an active role in real-economy companies. eB Capital’s approach is grounded in operational excellence and a long-term perspective.
